Should I do a second run on the book?

There are only a handful of the Ninoy: Art and Essays book...

I'm thinking of something that will bring out something good.

I'm thinking of some sort of challenge...

Maybe like the person who can get the most people to register to vote get's a signed copy of the last few pieces of the 1st printing... But I don't think a lot of people will do that.

Hmmm... Will think of something...

I need to get people to register.

=====================================

Should I do a second run?

I have to bring it to National Book Store first though... I'll have to see...

I'll discuss with my Mom...

What kind of evidence will you need to prove the number of people a challenger has caused to register? ;)

May I just ask for one signed copy? :)

Signed by whom, btw? Hehe.

hi jiggy,

yes please do a second run, or okey, discuss it first with your mom, and while you're at it, you can let me know where to get those remaining copies of the first run, thanks!:)

thanks for being so honest with your feelings! we do like to know how you all are doing after the events of the past week. read your entries in the philippine star- you do love your lola to distraction and twas obvious she loved you back in equal measure!

take care, jiggy!

i think you should. but yeah, it will be challenge since the youth today becomes apathetic. sorry to say that but i personally feel so:D

Yup Jiggy there's a demand for it, but no copies were available in Metro Comic Con. Print-on-demand and e-books- ex. for Kindle- are also viable options- see:

Good business, and with a social message too- will place an order on Amazon if you decide to push through with this or another book. Good luck!

Yes Please... another run of the book... was it ever available sa powerbooks or fullybooked? kasi i was searching for it sa websites nila but 0 results, i think i'll just go to the bookstores...

Hey Jiggy, even though I haven't read your first book (I hope it's available at Amazon.com), I'll say GO FOR IT!

There's no doubt that MANY people will support you! ;-)

Maybe I should ask my relatives in Manila to grab me a copy (of the 1st book) before they visit me here. =)

All the best!

Im Jan Michael Belena, im 21 years old from davao. i know its been days after your grand mom died of cancer so kahit late na nakikiramay po kami. hindi ko man naabutan yung termino ng lola mo
( I mean yung may malay na ako)
pero i knew your grand mom as a good president, a good lola for her mga apo and a good mom to her children. alam mo nanghihinayang nga ako nung nalaman ko na namatay na cya kasi shes a parang sandalan or yun bang last stand natin sa lahat ng mga issues here in our country....

basta even im a single dot of a million supporters here in our nation... maaasahan nyo ako.

ehh comment ko lang sa mungkahi na kung mag run ka pa ng second book eh di go mag second book ka para naman may pagkaabalahan ka na....

just like your aunt Kris Aquino shes back in SNN.

Cge thanks ha and kung mabasa mo ito just comment lang sa blog ko

Where can I buy the book? Why is it not available in bookstores? Are you considering writing a book about your Lola Cory? I do hope you write a book about President Cory from your point of view.

While you can get better mileage and better exposure with National Bookstore, it might not be the best route business-wise.

I believe Gerry discussed this last month on his blog (http://gerry.alanguilan.com/archives/1633) and brought up some valid points. With that kind of set-up with NBS, your book might be a little more expensive that you intended it to be - and a lot of people might not be able to afford it.

Hopefully they give you a better deal than usual if ever you still want to take the NBS route. I mean, we are talking about a book about your grandfather :D

Anyway, my still treasures my gift to her. Thanks for signing it! Now I only have to have it signed by Jonty and a few more artists :p

Hi Jiggy,

any news about the plans for a 2nd run of the book? I would love to give my son a copy so that he'll grow up appreciating what President Cory and Senator Ninoy sacrificed for all of us.

Please do. I'd love to have a copy to pass on to my daughter.
