I'll miss you forever Lola...

You meant the world to me Lola... Thank you for everything. Thank you for the honor for letting me be called your eldest apo...

I love you Lola. I'll miss you forever.

================================

I went to your room earlier Lola. I couldn't help but cry... Seeing your clothes, your bed, your bags. I miss you soooo much :(

But I know you're happy with Lolo now. And you're right, this is just temporary. We will meet again. I can't wait for our reunion for eternity...

Please watch over us...

Hey Jiggy, I hope you're doing ok now in coping with the loss of your beloved lola.

Congress speech and your Lolo Ninoy's speech in L.A.), talagang nakakatuwa at nakakataba ng puso!!!

Kahit malayo akong kamag-anak ng iyong Lolo Ninoy, gaya mo, PROUD na PROUD ako na may dugong AQUINO na dumadaloy sa aking katawan!

Sorry if I got carried away with my long message. Kung magkakilala lang sana tayo ng personal, I would've offered you my "crying" shoulder.

Cheer up, Parker! Your lola loves you so much and we know it! I'm sure she's having a coffee break with your Lolo up there and telling him stories about the good times she had with you! =)

Ninoy and Cory: TOGETHER AGAIN!

God bless you bro Jiggy! See you around The Tangled Web! ;-)

i was never an advocate of any politically related matters of our country. minsan, wala rin akong pakialam sa nangyayari sa bansa... but after Madam President Cory's loss, I finally realized that our lives now might be really difficult if she didn't gave up herself for the country.

hindi pa ko buhay nung edsa revolution but i was born during your lolas presidency, with due respect... si Pres Cory lang ang tiningala ko sa lahat ng inabutan kong presidents and now, I can finally say that she is indeed a PERFECT person.

i actually miss my lola when i see tributes to your lola on tv. my lola also passed away a couple of months ago and i know how hard it is to lose someone lalo na kung kasama natin sila nung lumalaki tayo. :(

God bless you and your family and Thank you very much for sharing one great person to our country, that's your lola.

Hi Jiggy! I was moved to tears with your Tita Kris' message during the requiem mass for your Lola. Heartbreaking but only God can relieve us from the pain of losing someone we love.

Your Lola may not be the perfect leader, and I learned that every leader has his own shortcomings and mistakes. But your Lola has redeemed us from the dark period of dictatorship and stood up for the fight for democracy. On a personal note, I truly admire your Lola for her steadfast faith to God and her desire to see change in this broken nation.

I am a scholar and I was touched when I learned that she wanted to help students to study, and her dream was fulfilled when she established the Ninoy Aquino Foundation. It made me realize that I should not let go of my goal to help Filipinos, by promoting the good cause of education.

Condolences to your family, Jiggy. We pray for your Lola and your family.

Hi Jiggy! hope everyone in your family had a rested already. We here from overseas attend the wake of Lola Cory via internet. Since there's no way for us to attend physically as much as we wanted.

Now, I would like to send you my personal message to Pres./Tita/Lola Cory. I really admire Lola Cory more as a person. :D

It is a rare privilege for us "the new generation" to know a truly ONE OF A KIND LEADER like Tita Cory who stood by our motherland in times of glory and pain. She may not have the most brilliant mind, however she gained the most HIGHEST respect and love that any leader or a person could ever get from the people.

Truly, Tita Cory made a graceful exit as her life ceases and for that TWO THUMBS UP for you OUR BELOVED and OUR DEAREST Tita/Pres/Lola. Cory. Again, many, many thank you for all the sacrifices you have done for the welfare of all our kababayans. Thank you for your selfless love that you showered upon us since day one. Thank you for teaching us to love and appreciate our own country and fellowmen now more than ever. Thank you for inspiring us to be a better person than we are now. Lastly, thank you for making us realized the importance of praying and developing a close relationship with God and Mama Mary in our daily battle in life. We owe this everything to you and to Sen. Ninoy.

I will end this message with a heavy heart and with tears, farewell to you Tita/Pres./Lola, the entire Philippines will SURELY MISS YOU. We love you and one can ever replace you here in our hearts. :'(

I can't say I know how you feel, because i still have both my lolas around, but i understand how you feel, your lola was not only a part of your family, but a part of the whole Filipino family. Safe to say, that each and everyone of us, owe your lola big time.

Your lola is in a safe place now, far from the harsh and judgmental critics of insatiable people. And she has your lolo with her now too, who knows how long she has waited to be reunited with him, and now that they are both together, who knows what wonderful things they would be able to bring heaven, afterall, they did a pretty good job changing the lives of the Filipino people.

God Bless you and your family.
Your lola's love and legacy to all Filipinos will never be forgotten.
I know that she and your lolo, are watching over you guys right this minute, and both of them are really proud of you guys.

Hi, Jiggy.

I was one of the media people who interviewed you at the cathedral. I just learned magkasing-edad pala tayo at comics fan ka rin.Para sa akin, ang lola mo tulad ni Phoenix, a symbol of hope. :)

I pray maging madali ang pagtanggap ninyo sa nangyari. Soon, sana makapanood ka na rin ng basketball, tuloy ang buhay...

She was staying kasi with my uncle who violated me as child thus our ties were cut.I saw her when she was already in the morgue I was heartbroken. Goodthing sa inyo ur family was close you guys have a good support system.
Kaya mo yan Jiggy. Im 100% sure President Cory is happy holding the hand of your Lolo while walking in God's Kingdom.

jiggy - please tell your Tita Kris to come up with an album with songs sang during the necrological services and funeral mass - including Lea Salonga's Bayan Ko, Jed Mandela's Impossible Dream, Eric Santos' Our Father, Sarah Geronimo's Magkaisa, Zsazsa's Hindi Kita Malilimutan, etc. We are praying for your Lola and for the Aquino family. She will be forever be our inspiration to always do good for our compatriots. I remember Cardinal Rosales' homily when he launched Pondong Pinoy, "Sino ang mag-aalaga sa Filipino, walang iba kung hindi ang kapwa niya Filipno" Your Lola and Lolo embodied this - truly, Filipinos are worth dying and living for. Thank you for being so true with your emotions, feelings and love for your Lola. We also cried with you since it was announced that she was sick until her funeral. We love her too!

I just want to extend my condolence to you and your family as well as to thank you for sharing your lolo and lola to all the Filipino people. So much has been said on the heroism and the courage your family, especially your grandparents, has shown throughout the decades. Truly, the Aquinos served as one of the chisel which moulded our country.

I know how hard things are for you, not to mention the pressure as the eldest apo (I am also one). But from what I've seen in the different forms of media, I know you made your grandparents very proud of you.

Jiggy, continue to be a pillar of strength for your family. Things will not be easy but remain steadfast. Better days are not that far. Now your lolo and lola are watching not only on your family but the entire nation as well.

I know your tita Viel said that your lola becoming a saint may be too much. But you know I already started praying to her for our country, the land she loved dearly.

I just want to let you know you've made us all proud. Needless to say, "apo ka nga talaga ni Ninoy at Cory".

condolence...

the whole nation is mourning, myself included...but of course, it is more painful for those closest to her like you...

my grandparents died years ago, but when this incident happened, it brought back memories to me and the pain of losing my own loved ones started to show up again...but i just keep in my mind and my heart that they're in a much better place now and that life goes on, not taking them away from my memory of course...

i'm sure your lola is in a happier place now -- a place without pain and sickness -- w/ your lolo...so cheer up...

thanks for sharing your thoughts and emotions to us readers of your blog...it takes enough courage to do that in a time of mourning and missing...

God bless to you and your family...
