What makes Destiny Cable awesome...

Destiny Cable carries Discovery: Travel and Living and what's awesome about it is the show called Man vs. Food!

What is it about?

It's about Adam Richman travelling the US and he visits local restaurants. Name it! He goes to the special ones like a popular Philly Cheesesteak place in Philadelphia, a popular Pancake place in Hawaii, Quesadillas in Texas, etc. and he faces challenges of that specific restaurant.

It's INSANE!!! But it's fun to watch! Adam eats the tastiest food in the US! There are some challenges that are EXTREMELY difficult like eating 10 wings with POST-APOCALYPTIC HOT SAUCE!!! He didn't finish it. He had to eat a 4 pound Pancake with blueberries in Hawaii. But he had to finish it in 90mins!!! He failed that one too!!! But then he did finish the cheesesteak challenge in Philly, the Sushi Challenge with 10 levels of hot sauce, etc.

Adam is witty as a host and he knows how to describe food! He has references to comic books too that's why I like him. You know he's a geek at heart.

But be warned, watching this show can make you extremely hungry! It can also make you feel extremely sorry for Adam when he eats spicy food. If you want to know more about this show, visit the show's website at http://www.travelchannel.com/TV_Shows/Man_V_Food

If you haven't seen this show and you're a Destiny subscriber, by all means, WATCH THIS SHOW!

As much as I applaud the novelty of the show and the fact that it features a host who is game for everything, I simply feel that with all the hunger in the world ...

This man is SSSOOO COOL! he can make his audience go "oh i want to try that one too!" The show is just awesome and mouth-watering! How about a Pinoy counterpart of this show? Is it possible?

Hi jiggy!!! It was the first death anniversary of your lola--our dear President Cory yesterday. Well, the only regret I have (and I guess most people) is that I never had the chance to thank her in person. But anyways, I believe that she now knows how grateful Filipinos are for everything she did for us. I hope your family knows that also. We love Pres. Cory and that won't ever change!
